How to book

Fill out the request form

Fill out all the information requested as stated under “Request Form” (This is only a request which we will follow up to let you know availability. It is not a contract in any way and you are not obligated to proceed with any payments or deposits at this point).

How to book

1st step

  • Pay the Housing Placement Fee, 50% of the total invoice. The Housing Placement Fee is due when you request housing and is required before a housing assignment can be confirmed and should be paid at least 60 days before arrival to guarantee participation. It is an advance that covers the first two months of rent for double occupancy and will be credited against the final bill.

2nd step

  • Fax or email (info@yourplaceinrome.com) a copy of the wire transfer for the "Housing Placement Fee" and a copy of your passport to our accounting office:

Payment of the balance

The balance due, as reflected on the invoice, must be paid directly to Your place in Rome 30 days before arrival for the whole semester.Longer periods will be paid by semester in advance.

Paid housing costs may be fully refunded when written notification of withdrawal from the Housing Program is received 90 days before arrival, to the term for which the housing was requested.

Withdrawal from the housing program

Before 60 days will be refunded 80%. After that date and before 30 days before occupying the accommodations, Housing Costs may be refunded 50%. After that date and until the housing unit has been occupied, no refund is possible.

Alterations and cancellations by us

Even though it is highly unlikely we will have to make changes to confirmed arrangements, it does occasionally happen. If, for any reason beyond our control we are unable to provide you with the property booked, we reserve the right to transfer the booking to a similar property. If the replacement property is not to your liking, and if we are unable to provide you with an acceptable substitute property, a full refund will be given and the booking will be cancelled once written confirmation to that effect is received from you. However we will not be liable in respect of any further obligations or claims by you.

Liability

YPR will not, under any circumstances, accept any liability arising out of, or in any way connected with your use and occupancy of the apartment, including, but not limited to, injury, damages or losses from fire, theft or criminal activity. YPR is not liable for any consequential damages.

Jurisdiction

Any dispute concerning either the booking contract and/or the rental contract is subject to the governing laws of Italy and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Rome, Italy over any claims, disputes or other matters in question between the parties.
